The silver Thor's hammer, adorned with intricate filigree details, was discovered at an undisclosed location in Skåne. It was originally part of baron Claes Kurck's collection but was generously donated to the Historical Museum in Stockholm in 1895. Some less credible sources propose that the hammer may have been found in Kabbarp near Staffanstorp in Skåne, Sweden.
