Description: This artifact is a copper alloy clasp with distinctive features. It consists of a flat round hinge that has a protruding tongue shaped like an animal head. The tongue itself also terminates in the form of an animal head. Attached to the hinge is a hinged subtriangular plate that extends to the end of the clasp. The clasp is adorned with cast and carved basket and animal mask designs, as well as ring and dot decorations. It also has a split end with two fastening rivets for secure closure.
