Vasaborgen is part of Uppsala Castle, open to the public. Here you can wander through the ruins of the first castle, built in 1549 and burned in a fire in 1702. In summer excursions take place here every day and many fascinating stories about the castle will be told. Here you will also find a wax museum in the dungeons of Uppsala Castle, where the most significant events of the past years are reproduced in costumes, colour and music. From time to time there are also celebrations and parties, usually on dark and mystical themes, as well as the castle walls.
